Prior to working direct for Bloodstock, Simon fronted UK progressive trash outfit Beholder, releasing 3 albums and touring extensively both in the UK, Europe and Scandinavia. During that time he also created a promotions, management and production company, Razorline Music ... the object being to help guide emerging acts as well as developing an understanding of production requirements from smaller stage event through to touring production requirements.

The transition to working direct with Bloodstock was established approximately 20 years ago when he was approached to head up the Bloodstock Metal 2 Masses, an initiative created by festival founder Paul Gregory, to provide a platform to UK underground metal acts. Over his time in charge Simon has developed the initiative further afield to countries such as Poland, Norway, Cyprus, Croatia etc alongside developing a well trusted part of the UK live music calender. Countless bands have understood the relevance of the M2TM and where possible Simon is always happy to offer guidance in everything from stage craft to contractual considerations.

Whether working with mainstage headliners or bands hitting the stage for the first time, Simon's passion for live and recorded music is infectious!
