Closing in on 25 years working in the industry, Mark has done everything from Babyshambles Tour Management, DJ, Music Journalism and finally found his home running venues, including The Underground, 256 Wilmslow Rd, The Exchange and now Keele SU.

Mark's passion has been and always will be live music, savouring that feeling you get from standing at the back of a room and seeing a crowd enjoy a band.

Recently part of Trentham’s team and acting as the head booker for Stoke100 shows this year, Mark is gearing up to announce the Trentham line up for 2026.

Askew still gets out to do the odd DJ show and still loves the reaction of seeing a crowd enjoying the music. He has been lucky enough to work within this industry for almost 25 years and still has the passion and drive to bring the best shows and bands to this great area.
